Mon 30th – Start of term – Subs due
Sun 5th Sept – Beach Fun Day, John Muir Country Park.
Mon 20th Sept – Mid term Break – No Cubs.
Mon 18th & 25th Oct – School Holidays – No Cubs.
Mon 1st Nov – Halloween Party – theme closer to the time….
Mon 20th Dec – Christmas Party and last night of term. |

A reminder that we still try to get outside as much as possible during this
term. We therefore ask that the Cubs bring along a jacket or waterproof just
in case we’re caught short. |
|
|
|
We need parent volunteers to join our committee to ensure the smooth running
of the Scout Group and help raise funds. Commitment is approximately 3-4
hours per month. Please call Jaci if you can help. |

Just to remind you that Subs are now £12.50 per term this covers (other than
outings) most things including the money we pay to Scouting HQ as census
(£18 per member), badges, books, electricity etc and insurance.
BEACH FUN DAY
We are meeting as an Area for a fun day – sand castle competitions, treasure
hunts etc at John Muir Country Park on Sunday 5th September. We shall meet
in the play area next to the car park at 10:30 and finish at 15:30 leaving
from the play area. Cubs will need a packed lunch, a bucket and spade, a
poly bag (for collecting) and a waterproof ALL IN A RUCSAC (as we’ll need to
carry our own things) |
